Tree Branches wall decals

A few months ago, Jaime posted a really creative use of our Tree Branches wall decals on our Facebook page. We already knew our Tree Branches were among our most customizable designs, but we were wowed by Jaime’s creativity! She used our wall decals to create a completely customizable, repositionable family tree right on her wall. It’s one of our most innovative customer submissions to date, so we absolutely had to share! Here’s what Jaime had to say about the project:

We are a military family living overseas and we don’t get the opportunity to see our families often. With hopes of keeping our family close and helping our toddler remember his Nana and Papa, uncles, aunts, and cousins, I used your Tree Branches wall decal to create a full-size family tree. The tree is easy to update as our families grow, and easy to bring with us every time we move!

Jaime combined our wall decals, inexpensive picture frames, customized pictures of family members, and some paper mache letters to create a beautiful display of family on her wall. Let’s take a look at how the tree turned out:

Wow! How creative is that? The picture frames look like they are hanging from the tree branches! Here’s a closeup of the branches:

The really remarkable thing about this design is that the entire tree can be changed around at any time: of course our Tree Branches decal is completely repositionable, but because Jaime used putty to hang the picture frames, she can switch them to a new branch at any time without having to worry about leftover nail holes in the wall, or damaging the paint. As she explains, every element of this family tree makes it easy to modify:

What I really like about this project is that it is versatile and easily changed! You can literally do whatever you want with this tree to make it your own.

You can see more pictures of the completed tree on the Clay family's blog. Thanks again for sharing with us, Jaime!

Hi Rachel, the assembled size of the tree varies based on how it is constructed. If you follow the "recommended" assembly exactly (going by what you see in our images online or on the product packaging), the size is 47" wide by 62" tall. Hope this helps!

I have this tree in my nursery but I can't seem to find this size of frames, where did you get them?

Hi Nikki, if you follow the link to the Clay family blog above, Jamie has a little bit of info in her post about the frames she used. They are "mini" photo frames. She also has a very recent post in her comments with an alternative option if you can't find similar frames online or in stores. Hope this helps!

Hi, this looks awesome!  I think I've seen this one in Target but where did you get the picture frames from?  They look so perfect with the decal.

Thanks,

Nicole

Hi Nadia, see my comment above -- if you follow the link at the bottom of our post to the Clay family blog, the very last comment at the bottom of her page has some specifics on the frames. The best way to find out exactly what was used would be to contact Jaime via her blog. Good luck! Smile
