Sarah recently wrote us about her decision to turn a formal dining room into a playroom for her daughter. Since this room conversion would be temporary, she needed to choose decor that could be easily removed when it was time to bring back the dining room again. As you already know, RoomMates are perfect for this situation! Our popular Scroll Tree MegaPack was chosen to decorate the new play area. Sarah writes:
Turning our formal dining room into a playroom was a big decision! We weren't sure how to go about choosing paint and decor that we could easily move or change as our daughter grows, and we eventually want it to be an actual formal room again. We found your beautiful tree and animal decals and they were perfect!
Here's what Sarah's formal dining room looked like before the transformation...
And here is the brand new play area!
This total room transformation involved everything from paint to furniture to—of course—the wall decor. But look at what a difference a new coat of paint and some wall stickers can make! We think the Scroll Tree wall decal was a great pick for this colorful space: it ties together the paint color, the toys, and the furniture. We also like the use of additional animal decals on the opposite wall, which helps carry the design throughout the room.
Sarah continues:
We loved that [the decals] were done in a more sophisticated color palette instead of neon or pastel. They could not have been any easier to peel and place. My 4 year old was able to help, which made it all the more beautiful when it was finished. Thank you for making her playroom a special and fun place for all of us.
All in a day's work! Thanks so much for sharing your photos with us, Sarah. We hope you enjoy the playroom for many years to come!
